OPINION:
Do millions of Americans care that Hillary Clinton just insulted them and categorized them as racists? She attacked Donald Trump, saying he is promoting “paranoia and prejudice,” and lumped all Trump supporters into a despicable pool of hatred.
As an independent voter I take umbrage with Mrs. Clinton’s assertion that because we support Mr. Trump we are the dregs of society. This wannabe leader has just thrown another wrench into the works to divide our people, continuing President Obama’s work, which has divided black against white and rich against poor. She is using an old tactic to divide and conquer, which is far from what she spews at her functions, at which she says she wants to be the president of all the people.
Mr. Trump has gone after Mrs. Clinton and the Democrats for not enforcing our laws. It’s not paranoia to have laws to protect the people of this country. You are not prejudiced if you don’t want illegal immigrants who could be terrorists invading our borders.
Being a former law-enforcement officer and Marine Vietnam War veteran on 100-percent disability from a combination of war wounds and job-related injuries that cost me my career, I know I served my country and community with honor.
Mrs. Clinton, on the other hand, has the unmitigated gall to belittle me and those like me for supporting Trump — when she got our people killed in Benghazi, lies at the drop of a hat, has no integrity or morals and has the audacity to call Mr. Trump the bad guy. She should look in a mirror to see who the bad guy really is.
