Dave Chappelle took a jab at the Black Lives Matter movement in a rare performance in New York on Sunday, calling it the “worst slogan I’ve ever heard.”

The former “Chappelle Show” host, who warned the audience that it would be a “racist show” from the outset, said he preferred the phrase spearheaded by Chicago Bulls shooting guard Dwyane Wade, “Enough is Enough,” reported ShowBiz 411.

Mr. Chappelle also took a shot at Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who invoked the shooting of Mr. Wade’s cousin in order to appeal to black voters.

“Dwyane Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago,” Mr. Trump tweeted on Saturday. “Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!”

Responding to the tweet, Mr. Chappelle joked: “Oh, yeah, now I’m voting for Donald Trump.”
