Expressing his disdain for a local government’s threat to censor his mural depicting Hillary Clinton in a skimpy bathing suit, Australian street artist Lushsux painted over most of the mural so as to portray the Democratic presidential nominee clothed in a black-colored niqab, a modest, loose-fitting garment worn by many observant Muslim women.

“Next to his work, he painted the message: ’If this Muslim woman offends u, u r a bigot, racist, sexist Islamophobe,’” The Guardian newspaper noticed.

“This is no longer a wall of a supposed ’offensive and near naked’ Hillary Clinton, a beautiful Muslim woman,” Lushsux said via his Twitter account on Monday.

An equal opportunity offender, The Guardian noted of Lushsux that in a separate mural he had depicted a topless Melania Trump, only to later cover over the former model’s nipples with images of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s head.

“Decided to censor my work now as not to cause any offence,” quipped Lushsux in a July 29 tweet.

While his swimsuit-clad Mrs. Clinton no longer adorns the wall of a Melbourne-area scooter shop, Lushsux is selling prints of “Stupid Sexy Hillary” online for $80AUS ($60.85 in U.S. currency).
