Honoring his vow to bypass the mainstream media and outwit the pollsters, GOP nominee Donald Trump has issued his third public poll on Friday, this one an online survey simply titled “Stop Hillary Survey.”

Like the two polls issued earlier in the week, this one offers 30 questions for the respondents and was organized by Team Trump, a joint organization composed of Donald J. Trump for President and the Republican National Committee.

“I need your input on how to defeat Hillary,” Mr. Trump advises respondents. “I’ve said it before: my trusted advisors are the American people. I don’t care what the special interests, the media, or lobbyists say is the right path.”

The new poll is specific, asking such questions as “Do you approve of the term ’Crooked Hillary’?” and “Which of Hillary Clinton’s policies is most disastrous for our country?” It also asks for opinions on which “Clinton scandal” Mr. Trump should focus on and whether he should “force Hillary to admit that she repeatedly lied to the American people regarding her email.”

The two prior polls focused on the workings and general tone of the Trump campaign itself, and on the fairness of the press. Both surveys addressed such topics as political correctness, trust in news media and government overreach.

“All too often I’m asked about a ’poll’ put out by a liberal organization that says the American people disagree with our common-sense reforms to fix our country,”Mr. Trump noted when the first polls were issued on Monday. “The next time I’m being interviewed, I will have my own poll that shows that the American people disagree with the dishonest media.”

Critics may continue to hound the Trump campaign, but many Americans can’t get enough of it. According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News Channel’s town hall with Mr. Trump on Wednesday crushed the competition in the 10 p.m. time slot. Moderated by Sean Hannity, the program delivered 2.5 million viewers; CNN drew 789,000 viewers, MSNBC 1.4 million.
