The NFL unveiled its preseason schedule on Thursday, with the Washington Redskins opening on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.

Washington will return to FedEx Field for consecutive home games against the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills, then finish on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Washington has played Tampa Bay every year in the preseason finale every year since 2011.

All four games will be televised on WRC-Ch. 4 and Comcast SportsNet and specific times will be determined at a later date.

The Redskins played all four of their preseason opponents in the regular season in 2015. They beat the Buccaneers, 31-30, in Week 9, despite facing a 24-0 deficit. Washington also beat Buffalo, 35-25, in Week 15. The Redskins lost to the Falcons, 25-19, in Week 5 and to the Jets, 34-20, in Week 6.

Last season, the Redskins went 3-1 in the preseason, winning their first three games against the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens. They lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the final game.
