Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Tuesday the country has “no spirit” and that President Obama has been “the great divider.”

“The country has no spirit — we have a divider,” Mr. Trump said on “Fox and Friends,” speaking from a diner in Wisconsin.

“President Obama, whether you like him or don’t like him, he’s been the great divider,” he said.

A Trump supporter had told the businessman he had a sister who was on the fence. Wisconsin voters are heading to the polls Tuesday to vote in the GOP and Democratic presidential primary contests.

“Tell her how, or tell us how you’d make us proud as president,” the supporter said.

Mr. Trump said he planned to make the country “strong and great” and make great trade deals, win with the military, knock out the Islamic State terrorist group and start rebuilding the military.

“You’re going to be so proud of your country,” Mr. Trump said. “We’re going to win again. We don’t win.”
