The Washington Redskins will open the 2016 season on Monday Night Football when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 12 at 7:10 p.m.
The opener is followed by games against NFC East opponents. Washington will host the Dallas Cowboys at 1 p.m. and visit the New York Giants the next week.
The Redskins will play two more primetime games — a home game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Nov. 20 and a home game against the Carolina Panthers on Monday, Dec. 19.
Washington’s game in London against the Cincinnati Bengals will take place on Oct. 30 at Wembley Stadium at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time. The bye week will follow after that in Week 9. The toughest stretch will likely come after this. Washington will face the Minnesota Vikings and Packers, followed by consecutive road games against the Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles. That’s followed by the Monday Night Football game against the Panthers and a Saturday game against the Chicago Bears on Christmas Eve.
The other notable game on the schedule is the Redskins’ Thanksgiving day matchup at the Dallas Cowboys.
