Real estate mogul Donald Trump is the sole candidate among the GOP 2016 who owns his own aircraft, which has come in handy getting him all over the country for campaign events.

Mr. Trump’s plane — a Boeing 757-200, tail number N757FA — could be tracked online via FlightAware, a free flight-tracking service, until Wednesday when the notice “this aircraft is not available for public tracking per request from owner/operator” appeared on the website, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The FAA does not make flight data from military aircraft — including Air Force One — available to public websites, FlightAware said. The FAA will also block the ability to track any aircraft after receiving a verified request from the plane’s owner.

A FlightAware representative told The Hollywood Reporter that such a request had been made to the FAA for Mr. Trump’s plane.

The block was likely made as a security precaution. A representative for Mr. Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the plane.

Before tracking was blocked for the plane, FlightAware logged the 757’s flights from New York to many destinations including Shannon, Ireland, where Mr. Trump owns a golf resort.

Mr. Trump has also flown the plane to Des Moines, Iowa; Savannah, Georgia; Phoenix; Washington, D.C.; Nashville, and Las Vegas.

On one occasion, Mr. Trump had an 8-minute flight on the plane from Newark Liberty Airport to LaGuardia Airport, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Mr. Trump first bought the plane in 2011 and gave it a luxury renovation, even adding gold-plated lavatory fixtures.

When he is not using the plane on the campaign trail, Mr. Trump leases it to fellow high rollers.
