EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Vikings have reinstated cornerback Jabari Price to the active roster, after he served his two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Price was punished for a drunken driving arrest last December and pleaded guilty in April to a reduced charge of careless driving. Back at Winter Park on Monday with the Vikings, Price said “that’ll never happen again,” expressing appreciation of the team’s support.

The Vikings played the first two weeks of the season with one open spot on the roster. Price was a valuable contributor on special teams as a rookie, after being drafted in the seventh round out of North Carolina. He’s the sixth cornerback on the roster this season.
