BRUSSELS (AP) - Belgium’s David Goffin will open play Federico Delbonis of Argentina in the first singles match of their Davis Cup semifinal.

The 15th-ranked Goffin, who has a 9-3 record in Davis Cup, takes on No. 65 Delbonis on hard court at the Forest National in Brussels on Friday before Steve Darcis and Leonardo Mayer square off in the second match.

In Saturday’s doubles, Rubens Bemelmans and Kimmer Coppejans are set to team up against Carlos Berlocq and Diego Schwartzman.

The winner will play either Britain or Australia in the final.

Belgium’s last appearance in the semifinals ended with a 4-1 loss against France in 1999. The hosts last qualified for the final more than a century ago, in 1904.

Argentina is also looking for a first victory in the competition, having finished runner-up four times.
