GOP frontrunner Donald Trump sucked up the most airtime of any of the 11 candidates early in the second presidential debate Wednesday night.
According to breakdowns calculated by NPR, Mr. Trump spoke for 7 minutes and eight seconds during the first portion of the debate. Carly Fiorina was second with 5 minutes, 54 seconds of speaking time.
They were followed by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (5:38), Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas (5:21), Ohio Gov. John Kasich (4:08), former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (3:36), Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (3:10), New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (3:08), Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky (2:53), retired surgeon Ben Carson (2:06) and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida (1:41).
