A child jihadi armed with a rocket-propelled grenade has threatened to execute President Obama in a chilling new video released by the Islamic State terrorist group.
The boy, who appears to be about 10 years old, tells Mr. Obama that he is “dreaming” if he thinks American soldiers will invade the areas controlled by the terror group in Iraq and Syria.
“Wake up from your sleep and pay the jiz’yah (religious tax) in submission before the swords of the khalifah (caliphate) reach you and cut your filthy head,” the child says in the video, The Daily Mail reported.
The boy, dressed in army fatigues, calls Mr. Obama the “Dog of Rome,” meaning a servant of the Vatican, and again references the U.S. intervention in Syria and Iraq.
“If you think your soldiers will enter the land of the khalifah and pollute it with their filth, then you’re dreaming,” the boy, one of the so-called “cubs of the caliphate” says, according to the Daily Mail.
He holds one finger pointed toward the sky, a gesture that has become synonymous with the Islamic State group.
The video ends with a clip of a motorboat traveling across a body of water. It is unclear if this is reference to jihadists crossing the ocean or the possibility of militants infiltrating Europe among the waves of refugees fleeing Syria.
The U.S. has been leading an airstrike campaign against the terrorist group for the past year. On Sunday, the U.S. struck 16 Islamic State targets.
Meanwhile, Russian fighter jets have begun to bomb targets in Syria as well, conducting airstrikes on what Moscow says are Islamic State camps and resources in the country’s northern and central provinces.
