WASHINGTON (AP) — The District of Columbia is holding a dry run to prepare for snow season.

The District of Columbia says more than 800 members of the snow team will prepare for their winter weather duties during Friday’s practice. About 700 plow drives will drive their routes while other administrative, supervisory, logistics and technology employees will also practice their roles.

More than 800 people will be participating, including employees of the Department of Public Works and Department of Transportation.
