CNBC has announced the lineups for the Oct. 28 GOP presidential debate in Colorado, which include 10 participants in the main debate and four in the “undercard” session.
Billionaire businessman Donald Trump and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson will share center stage at the main prime-time debate shortly after 8 p.m. (EST), to be flanked by Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will be positioned next to Mr. Rubio, and Sen. Ted Cruz will be next to Mrs. Fiorina. Next to Mr. Bush will be former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will be next to Mr. Cruz. Mr. Huckabee will also be next to Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Mr. Christie will also be next to Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky.
The same 10 candidates were on the main stage at the debate last month in California hosted by CNN. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker also participated but has since dropped out of the race.
The “undercard” session at 6 p.m. (EST) includes Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, former New York Gov. George Pataki and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.
The debate is to be moderated by CNBC’s Carl Quintanilla, Becky Quick and John Harwood.
