The way GOP presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee sees it, Washington has turned into a stripper bar, and the first step to rebuilding the nation is to “burn down the Washington political machine.”

The former Arkansas governor rolled out a new campaign advertisement  on Thursday that suggests the nation’s leaders are dancing for dollars.

“Washington, it’s a strip club,” a raspy-voiced narrator says over footage of dollar bills sitting atop of what appears to be a stage with a stripper pole.

“The political class dances for the donor class, and the working class gets stuck with the tab.”

The spot then turns to Mr. Huckabee, who says Americans are tried of “corrupt Washington elites.”

“Let’s burn down the Washington political machine and rebuild this country,” Mr. Huckabee says in the 35-second spot. “No more leading from behind. No more losing. It is time for America to win again.”

Mr. Huckabee slipped in the polls over the summer and is now tied for the eighth spot in the GOP presidential race with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, according to Real Clear Politics.
