Donald Trump turned down the opportunity Tuesday to do his best Jeb Bush impression ahead of his scheduled appearance this weekend on “Saturday Night Live.”
“My Jeb impression?” Mr. Trump said in response to a question from a reporter at a press conference Tuesday where he rolled out a new book, “Crippled America.” “Nah, I don’t want to do that. I don’t like showing a person sleeping at a podium.”
Mr. Trump has been one of Mr. Bush’s biggest critics on the campaign trail, labeling him as “low-energy.”
“Jeb he lacks that quality that you need,” Mr. Trump said Tuesday. “You need a very strong person with tremendous energy.”
