Court documents show that a former FBI agent was arrested last week outside the CIA’s Langley, Virginia, offices after allegedly threatening to bomb the agency.
Tunisia Davis, 39, allegedly reached for an officer’s sidearm April 30 while outside the building and said she was going to bomb the building, Reuters reported Tuesday. Ms. Davis has a history of mental illness.
U.S. Magistrate Judge John Anderson ordered the suspect to have a psychiatric evaluation performed at the Federal Medical Center Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas, Reuters reported.
Ms. Davis allegedly said she wanted to “die of police brutality” during her afternoon arrest and repeatedly banged her head inside an arresting officer’s transport vehicle, CIA secret protective service agent John Hardee said in court documents. She also accused President Obama of being a terrorist.
