Martin O’Malley is going to push his youth in his race for the Democratic presidential nomination, and even before he jumps into the race, he’s teasing — with a guitar riff.

A new 24-second video popped up on YouTube showing the musically-inclined O’Malley tuning a guitar. Then, at the end of the short clip, he picks out the tune to “Hail To The Chief.”

The video contrasts the slick production value of his soon-to-be opponent, Hillary Clinton. The former Secretary of State had a rainbow of demographics in her slick video, gays, lesbians, transgenders, Hispanics, blacks (even some white people).

But O’Malley’s is just a tease. The video at first shows just fingers on a fretboard, then, after the tune, the camera pans up to show O’Malley, who just nods. Then the screen goes black and the words “stay tuned” pop up, followed by “be the first to know.”

The video includes an address for a website, omalleydecision.com.

As the Wall Street Journal reported: “The super PAC, Generation Forward—launched Wednesday by a longtime backer of Mr. O’Malley, Damian O’Doherty—will seek to differentiate the 52-year-old former governor from the rest of the relatively small Democratic field by emphasizing his youth. Mr. O’Malley is more than a decade younger than the next-oldest Democratic candidate, 67-year-old frontrunner Hillary Clinton. The other declared candidate in the race, Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, is 73, and his campaigning style has been described as that of a ’Brooklyn grandpa.’ “
