Despite continued global attacks, the Obama administration still refuses to acknowledge the danger of Radical Islam in the world.

In February of this year, then-Attorney General Eric Holder took great pains to exempt the term “Radical Islam” from responsibility. Mr. Holder’s exact words were “If Fox News didn’t talk about this, they would have nothing else to talk about … Radical Islam, Islamic extremism, I’m not sure an awful lot is gained by saying it. “

In order to correct any problem, you first have to recognize what the problem is. This is true in plumbing, this is true in relationships and it’s most certainly true in terror attacks on innocent people around the world.

Radical Islam has mounted 10 attacks thus far THIS MONTH, killing 122 people. So far in 2015 —  all four and a half months of it — you have 35 separate attacks, killing hundreds.

These brutal slayings weren’t limited to the Middle East. They’ve occurred in Nigeria, Bosnia, Denmark and France. Even the US has suffered an attack claimed by the Islamic State. While President Obama, Mr. Holder and White House spokesman Josh Earnest may not think it’s important to recognize the culprit in these attacks, oddly enough the Islamic community itself does.

In a recent survey conducted by the website for the Al Jazeera Arabic television channel, respondents overwhelmingly supported the Islamic State terrorist group. 81 percent voted “YES” when asked whether they approved of ISIS’s conquests.

The poll asked, “Do you support the organizing victories of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria?” It has generated over 38,000 responses thus far and only 19 percent of respondents voted “NO” to supporting ISIS.

Most of Al Jazeera Arabic’s television viewers come from Egypt and Saudi Arabia along with a large amount of satellite television viewers in the United States. AlJazeera.net is most popular in Saudi Arabia, the United States, Egypt, and Morocco. Al Jazeera claims that it has over 40 million viewers in the Arab world. If the 81 percent polling numbers are accurate, that means more than 32 million of their viewers support the violence of Radical Islam.

After the various ISIS attacks or beheadings around the world, civilized Americans often ask why no Muslim leadership stands up to denounce the atrocities. Perhaps it’s because 81 percent of their followers support these barbaric acts.

Perhaps Al Jazeera has helped us recognize what the problem is.
