Hillary Clinton, who got shellacked in South Carolina in 2008, has figured out a way to take the state this time around: Fake a Southern accent.

Clinton addressed the state’s Democratic Women’s Council on Wednesday, and suddenly, she had a major twang in her speech.

“Now let me tell you, I’m aware I might not be the youngest candidate in this race, but I have one big advantage: I’ve been coloring my hair for years,” she said in her strongest Paula Dean twang. The women in the hall howled.
