Clintons made $700,000 day after Hillary said they were ‘dead broke’

You gotta’ hand it to Hillary — no candidate has ever announced a run for the White House and given the media so much scandal in so little time.

Aside from the secret email server, the Benghazi debacle, the Clinton Foundation foreign cash grab, and on and on, Hillary just keeps stepping in one pile after another.

Remember when Hillary was hawking her latest book, “Hard Choices”? On June 9, she said this: “We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt.” She was seeking to set up her run as an ordinary American, struggling with money just like everyone else does.

But the day after she said that, Hillary and Bill gave three speeches and pulled in a whopping $700,000, the Washington Post found.

“On January 6, 2014, Hillary Clinton gave a speech on behalf of GE at an event in Boca Raton, Fla. For her time, she received $220,500 — meaning that, six days into the year, the Clintons’ household income was already four times the median American household income for 2014,” the paper wrote.
