Martin O’Malley, the former Maryland governor set to announce his run for the Democratic presidential nomination, will emphasize his “youthfulness” in his campaign — and likely take a lot more questions from the media.

“We do think there is a real generational argument to make and that he can seize upon it,” CNN reports, citing an O’Malley confidante tells CNN.

Hillary Clinton would be 69 years old when inaugurated should she win the presidency, and O’Malley would be just 54. Health issues have dogged Hillary for several years; she passed out at one point and hit her head, later suffered from a blood clot in her brain. Some sources say she has far more health issues than revealed.

O’Malley says he will make a “special announcement” on May 30, and most observers say he will enter the race then. He is already making stops to early voting states like Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, but right now, he only pollin at about 1 percent.
