One has to wonder if the complete silence of Hillary Clinton with respect to the media isn’t somehow related to her upcoming testimony before Rep. Trey Gowdy’s committee investigating Benghazi. Is she afraid that the media will ask questions that might elicit answers that conflict with her testimony (past or future)? Is she hiding something? After she testifies, will she then answer questions, or will she dodge them still by hiding behind the old “ongoing investigation” excuse? Worse, will she refuse to answer a question by saying that is “old news” and the question has already been answered at the hearing? Will she run out the clock with those evasions until after the presidential election — at which point the United States may have elected a president who can be blackmailed by foreign governments. This raises a question: Based on Clinton’s actions, if she weren’t president, could she even get a security clearance?
