Former NFL star and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez reportedly was the lookout man in a gang-related fight at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center.

A source told CNN Wednesday that the former New England Patriots tight end kept watch while an inmate went into another prisoner’s cell. All three men are being disciplined.

Christopher Fallon, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Department of Correction, told CNN that regulations prohibited officials from discussing such details about inmates.

Hernandez received a life sentence April 15 for the shooting death of Odin Lloyd in June 2013.
