The conservative group ForAmerica is blasting out a video Wednesday declaring former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush “unelectable” for president, pointing out praise Mr. Bush has offered to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential frontrunner.

“Almost all Republicans understand Hillary Clinton would make a terrible president…,” reads text in the video, which the group said is supported with a five-figure campaign in early states.

The video then plays 2016 GOP presidential candidates and hopefuls like Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, as well as Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, speaking critically of Mrs. Clinton.

“…all except one,” the text says, cutting to Mr. Bush thanking Mrs. Clinton and former President Bill Clinton for their service to the country. The Hill reported that Mr. Bush made the remarks at a Sept. 2013 National Constitution Center event where he presented Mrs. Clinton with a Liberty Medal award for her public service and advocacy for women’s rights.

“Mr. Bush is unelectable, and there are several better options for conservatives and Republicans if they want to win in 2016. Period,” ForAmerica Chairman Brent Bozell said. “By heaping praise on Hillary Clinton, Mr. Bush has handed her the ammo to bury him … and she will. No other potential GOP nominee has that fatal disadvantage.”
