Hustler founder Larry Flynt is endorsing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president, saying she could have the opportunity to change the balance of power on the U.S. Supreme Court if elected.

“But I don’t think she needs my endorsement,” the porn publisher and longtime Democratic supporter, told Bloomberg Politics.

He said the Supreme Court has gradually emerged “as a new legislative body because Congress won’t do their job.”

“They wind up making the rules that everybody else lives by, and we’ve had a right-leaning court for half a century,” Mr. Flynt said.

He said Mrs. Clinton would have the opportunity to appoint “two, maybe three” justices if elected.

“We could shift the balance of that,” Mr. Flynt said.

“I’m sure that Hillary doesn’t necessarily approve of everything I do,” he said when asked about the notion of Mrs. Clinton as a “feminist icon” and her base of female supporters.
