A host of 2016 GOP presidential hopefuls are slated to address Second Amendment advocates next month in Nashville at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting.
The Tennessean reported that confirmed speakers at the NRA lobbying arm’s “Leadership Forum” include former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
The annual convention, slated for April 10-12, will give the possible contenders an opportunity to prove their pro-gun bona fides before members of one of the country’s most powerful advocacy organizations.
