New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady sent fans on the internet into a panic when he posted a cliff jumping video from his family vacation to Costa Rica to his Facebook page on Saturday.

The video shows Mr. Brady standing atop a waterfall and taking a death-defying leap into a small pool several stories below.

“A collective gasp heard all over New England!” One fan wrote in a comment.

“Insurance companies all over the world just cringed,” another wrote.

Others joked that head coach Bill Belichick and team manager Bob Kraft would have some words for Mr. Brady when he returns home.

The video now has nearly 100,000 likes and over 20,000 shares.

Mr. Brady posted other pictures from his Costa Rica trip this week, including an image oh himself being buried alive in the sand by his kids with the caption “Someone please dig me out before training camp!”
