Indianapolis Colts linebacker Erik Walden and his girlfriend were allegedly attacked by the mother of two of his children, Georgia police said.

Erika Palmer was arrested and booked on 13 charges, including aggravated assault, theft by taking and battery, after she allegedly broke into Mr. Walden’s home in Hall County, Georgia, a total of three times on Saturday, a local CBS affiliate reported Thursday.

Police said Ms. Palmer apparently drove from Tennessee to Georgia to confront the couple, stopping along the way to buy a knife and a bat, AOL reported.

Ms. Palmer is accused of breaking into the home three times and repeatedly confronting the couple. Police said she broke the girlfriend’s arm with the baseball bat and cut Mr. Walden’s arm with the knife.

Mr. Walden, who has played for the Colts since 2013, told police he did not want to press charges. He’s been in a domestic violence incident with Ms. Palmer before, the CBS affiliate reported.

In 2011, when the couple was living in Wisconsin and Mr. Walden was still playing for the Green Bay Packers, the NFL player was reportedly arrested for hitting Ms. Palmer. He ended up doing community service and agreed to go to counseling in that case, the station said.
