The Washington Redskins announced Monday that they will hold three joint practices during training camp with the Houston Texans on Aug. 6-8.

This is the second consecutive season the Redskins will share their training camp facility in Richmond, Virginia with another team. Last season, the eventual Super Bowl champion New England Patriots worked with the Redskins.

All joint practices will be open to the public and free.

The Texans were chosen by HBO to be the subject of this season’s “Hard Knocks” which provides inside access to the team it covers. The Redskins were among the final teams considered for the HBO series.

Training camp is expected to start the final weekend of July, though the team has not officially announced the dates. Washington plays its first preseason game Aug. 13 in Cleveland against the Browns. The regular season starts Sept. 13 at home against the Miami Dolphins.
