After the shooting in South Carolina, Jeb Bush, who was scheduled to visit Charleston on Thursday, announced that he would cancel his events there.

“Governor Bush’s thoughts and prayers are with the individuals and families affected by this tragedy,” an official with the Republican’s campaign said.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina who is also running for

president, did the same. He was scheduled to campaign in New Hampshire this weekend, but his campaign office said he would cancel his events.

“To the families of the victims, please know that you are being prayed for and loved by so many in the community and across the nation. I pray that God will provide you healing in the coming days,” he said.

But not Hillary Clinton. She had been in Charleston in the days before the church shooting, holding a fundraiser. But she has not announced plans to cancel her campaign events in light of the shooting.

She did, however, tweet out: “Heartbreaking news from Charleston — my thoughts and prayers are with you all.”
