Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina says she will be on the stage in August at the first GOP presidential debate, which is to be limited to the top 10 candidates in recent public polls leading up to the forum.

“I will make that debate,” the 2016 GOP presidential candidate said Tuesday in response to a question from NH1 News.

“I can see the momentum. I can feel the momentum,” she said. “I still have very low name ID, much lower than virtually anyone else running. And so I need to work extra hard to introduce myself to people.”

Ms. Fiorina is in the early presidential state of New Hampshire this week and is scheduled to give a speech about the state of women in America Thursday evening at the Competitive Enterprise Institute.

She now falls just outside the top 10 in RealClearPolitics’ latest average of public polling on the GOP field.
