The White House created a virtual condolence book online Monday for people to express their sentiments over the death of Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joseph R. Biden.
The condolence book can be viewed at Whitehouse.gov. The Bidens are “deeply appreciative” of the outpouring of love for the family, said White House press secretary Josh Earnest.
“They have meant a great deal to the vice president and to his family,” Mr. Earnest said.
The younger Biden, 46, died Saturday after a battle with brain cancer. The vice president has canceled public events this week; President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama visited the Bidens at their residence in Washington Sunday to offer their condolences.
