Vice President Joe Biden’s wife will promote girls’ education and supporting military families during a tour of four Asian countries beginning next week.
The White House says Jill Biden will visit South Korea, Vietnam and Laos from July 16-22. She’ll be traveling with Catherine Russell, the U.S. ambassador-at-large for Global Women’s Issues.
Both women will meet with government officials and civil leaders to discuss economic empowerment and education for women and girls.
Jill Biden will also stop in Japan from July 22-23 to participate in events tied to her “Joining Forces” initiative to support service members, veterans and their families.
