The Democratic National Committee released a new video Thursday that mocks the GOP as the “Retrumplican Party” and ties the entire Republican presidential field to comments made by Donald Trump.
The video features clips of Mr. Trump’s most controversial comments against illegal immigration, followed by similar comments made by his Republican rivals.
“Trump may be running for president, but his ideas are running the party,” the video concludes.
The real estate mogul isn’t backing down from comments he made about Mexico and illegal immigration that sparked a wave of backlash and prompted multiple business partners to sever ties with him.
“Illegal immigrants coming in are causing tremendous problems, in terms of crime, in terms of murder, in terms of rape, in terms of lots of other things,” Mr. Trump told CNN Wednesday night.
