Bill Cosby’s 2005 testimony that he gave Quaaludes to at least one woman he had sex with hasn’t swayed Whoopi Goldberg’s opinion of him.

“The View” host told her audience on Tuesday that Mr. Cosby, 77, “has not been proven a rapist,” in a court of law.

“Save your texts, save your nasty comments, I don’t care,” Ms. Goldberg said, Mediaite reported.

The comedian also told her fellow ABC panelists that she doesn’t like “snap judgments” because “an entire party” tried to ruin her reputation.

“When somebody ruins your reputation, it’s the same thing. And nobody asked me if it was true, they just said it,” Ms. Goldberg said, Mediaite reported.

The sexual abuse lawsuit in question was settled in 2006, The Associated Press reported Monday. The news outlet secured the release of Mr. Cosby’s Quaaludes testimony through a lawsuit.
