Though not even close to having decided upon my choice of presidential candidate 2016, I support Donald Trump’s interpretation of Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican (“Trump fires back after ’crazies’ remark: McCain a hero ’because he was captured,’” Web, July 18). I am not a McCain fan. Mr. Trump speaks his mind and more of what he has been saying should be said across this nation of ours.

Mr. McCain has been riding his same horse for 30-plus years with the same liberal attitude and anti-Second-Amendment rhetoric. He’s been playing that wolf in sheep’s clothing, pretending to be a Republican but governing like a liberal.

Mr. McCain’s comment about Donald Trump’s supporters being “crazies” just show the senator’s arrogance at those who would dare not share his ideas and laud the status quo in Washington. Apparently if you disagree with him you are crazy. I find that comment more offensive than Mt. Trump’s.

The only thing crazy about this situation is Mr. McCain not understanding Mr. Trump wanting to turn this country around.
