Iconic professional wrestler Hulk Hogan has been fired by WWE.
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan),” a WWE statement obtained by Sports Illustrated says. “WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
It is unclear why the wrestling company, formerly known as WWF, abruptly parted ways with the Wrestlemania star.
Hogan’s name and pictures were quickly yanked from the WWE website.
