BALTIMORE (AP) — Police in Baltimore say they are investigating after a gun was found in a prisoner holding cell.
The department announced in a release late Thursday that it opened the investigation on Wednesday after a handgun was found in an Eastern District holding cell.
Police say all circumstances surrounding the incident will be examined to ensure that it does not happen again.
