Amy Schumer, the star of “Trainwreck,” took to Twitter to express her condolences after a gunman opened fire during a screening of her movie at a Lafayette, Louisiana theater Thursday night.
“My heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana,” Ms. Schumer tweeted at 11:21 p.m. EST, hours after the shooting at the Grand 16 Theater.
Three people, including the gunman, were killed and seven people were injured. The gunman, a 58-year-old white male who authorities have thus far declined to name, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
