White House officials said Wednesday President Obama’s four-day trip to Africa will continue as planned despite the fact that the president’s schedule was published this week by a Kenyan airline.

Kenyan Airways reportedly sent out an email blast detailing the scheduled arrival and departure times of Air Force One. Mr. Obama will visit Kenya and Ethiopia over the weekend, and will become the first American president to address the African Union.

Despite the leak, the administration showed little concern Wednesday.

“My understanding is Secret Service is well aware of this … Often times some of this information turns out to be not entirely accurate. But I don’t think it is in any way disturbing our plans,” White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice told reporters.

More broadly, Ms. Rice said she is confident in guaranteeing Mr. Obama’s safety while in Africa.

“We wouldn’t be taking this trip if we thought security conditions precluded us from doing so,” she said.
