W. SCOTT LAMB: Margaret Sanger wanted a race of thoroughbreds

I had always heard that Margaret Sanger, eugenicist and founder of Planned Parenthood, had made the following quote:

“We want a world freer, happier, cleaner — we want a race of thoroughbreds.”

But though I had heard the quote often, I had never traced it back to an early source. That is, until today.
