A transgender reporter put her hands on Breitbart Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro on Thursday and threatened to send him home “in an ambulance.”

Thursday’s HLN broadcast of “Dr. Drew On Call” had a close call with violence when Inside Edition reporter Zoey Tur took issue with Mr. Shapiro’s contribution to a discussion on Caitlyn Jenner.

“It turns out that every chromosome, every cell in Caitlyn Jenner’s body, is male, with the exception of some of his sperm cells. … It turns out that he still has all of his male appendages. How he feels on the inside is irrelevant to the question of his biological self,” Mr. Shapiro told Dr. Drew Pinsky’s panel, Breitbart reported.

After some back-and-forth between Dr. Drew and Ms. Tur, the Breitbart editor asked Ms. Tur, “What are your genetics, sir?” The use of “sir” appeared to set Ms. Tur off.

“You cut that out now, or you’ll go home in an ambulance,” the Inside Edition reporter responded after putting her left hand on Mr. Shapiro’s neck.

“That seems mildly inappropriate for a political discussion,” Mr. Shapiro responded, Breitbart reported. “The entire discussion is whether we are embracing mental illness and delusion as a society. That’s the entire discussion.”

Dr. Drew went to a break soon afterward, warning the panel: “No aggression. No violence.”
