Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James says his recent NBA Finals loss is so haunting to him that he has nightmares about its conclusion.
The future NBA Hall of Fame athlete told Bleacher Report radio on Sunday that he could “never” get over something like his team’s 105-97 in Game 6 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
“Obviously I gotta shake it a little bit because I’ve got these three running around this house every day that don’t allow me to not be happy. But at the same time, I can never get away from losing the finals. I have, I guess there are nightmares now you know, about situations throughout the games. It’s always replaying in my head. So, it was definitely difficult. I’m getting better every day,” the Cav’s star told hosts Howard Beck and Ethan Skolnick.
Mr. James has two NBA Finals trophies in six appearances.
“Doesn’t matter if I’m playing in Miami or playing in Cleveland or playing on Mars. You lose in the finals, it’s disappointing,” he said after his team’s June loss, The Associated Press reported at the time.
