The U.S. Department of Health and Human services recruited NFL stars Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman to promote Obamacare as the 2015 health care sign-up deadline nears.
“When your health or the game is on the line, nothing is more important than quality coverage,” Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman says in a HealthCare.gov YouTube video uploaded Friday.
“So make the right call, visit HealthCare.gov and get covered,” quarterback Russell Wilson responds. “
Mr. Wilson then makes a “coverage” joke about his teammate’s ability to stay close to opponents, and the two walk off camera.
Individuals have until January 15 to sign up for the Health Insurance Marketplace coverage that begins on February 1. Open Enrollment in the Marketplace ends on February 15.
