Cherif and Said Kouachi — the two brothers sought by Paris authorities for the Charlie Hebdo attack that killed 12 — have been killed Friday after taking a hostage at a printing complex in Dammartin-en-Goele, authorities said.
The brothers were killed when SWAT and military officials stormed the complex. The Associated Press reported their deaths, also, and said another hostage-taker may be killed as well.
The hostage, a 26-year-old man, has been freed, Fox News reported.
Meanwhile, a second simultaneous hostage situation at a kosher deli in east Paris has also come to end.
AP reported a hostage-taker in that situation was killed in a security raid, and at least three hostages at the deli are dead.
The development came just moments after several media outlets reported that several explosions were heard rocking the printing complex.
