A Belgian branch of the hacker group Anonymous has vowed revenge for Wednesday’s attack in Paris that killed 12, including the editor of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
A YouTube video posted Friday shows a French-speaking individual in a Guy Fawkes mask who explains the decision to “declare war on you, the terrorists,” the U.K. Mirror reported.
“We will track you down — every last one — and will kill you,” the Anonymous member says in the video. “You allowed yourselves to kill innocent people, we will therefore avenge their deaths. … You will not impose your Shariah law in our democracies, we will not let your stupidity kill our liberties and our freedom of expression. We have warned you; expect your destruction.”
The video ends with the individual saying “We do not forget. We do not forgive. Be afraid of us, Islamic State and al Qaeda — you will get our vengeance,” the Mirror reported.
The two al Qaeda-linked brothers suspected in the Charlie Hebdo attack were killed Friday by French authorities during a hostage standoff. Said and Cherif Kouachi died at a printing plant northeast of Paris when they came out of the building firing weapons, The Associated Press reported.
Elsewhere in France, a suspected accomplice of the two brothers died in a similar hostage situation.

Amedi Coulibaly was killed during a raid after taking hostages at a kosher grocery store in Paris, AP reported. At least four hostages were said to have been killed during a rescue attempt by French authorities.
