Dozens have been injured — and at least two believed dead — in a Thursday morning gas tank truck explosion outside a maternity and children’s hospital in Mexico City.

Fox News reported that more than 50 people were injured, including 22 children, and that at least two have been reported dead.

Mayor Miguel Angel Mancera told a local radio station that the lifeless body of a woman was found inside what’s left of the hospital, The Associated Press reported.

The explosion sent smoke billowing into the air above the western Mexico City site. Much of the hospital building has been destroyed and emergency responders are on scene, frantically digging for survivors.

“The most worrisome is the collapse of a large part of the hospital,” said local fire chief Adrian Rubalcava, AP reported.
