Marco Rubio gave off strong signals that he’s actually making a run for the White House in 2016. with one aide saying that the Florida senator told his team to act as if he truly is seeking the spot.
“He has told us to proceed as if he is running for president,” an unnamed senior adviser to Mr. Rubio told ABC News.
Meanwhile, Mr. Rubio has also signed on with a top Republican fundraiser. Anna Rogers, who’s presently the finance director for American Crossroads — the group started by Karl Rove — is due to start working at Mr. Rubio’s political action committee on Feb. 1, ABC News said. She is slotted to become the finance director of Mr. Rubio’s presidential campaign, should he announce an intent to run.
