President Obama declined to offer his thoughts on the possibility that Mitt Romney, the man he defeated in winning re-election in 2012, could soon mount another run for the White House.
“I have no comment,” he said Friday in response to a question about Mr. Romney at a news conference at the White House with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
The former Massachusetts governor recently told donors he is thinking about making a third run for the White House in 2016. Mr. Romney was to address the Republican National Committee at the RNC’s winter meetings in California Friday evening after helping renew the 2016 speculation one week ago.
